Not at all. As a general rule, we are usually able to save you between 60-90% off the cost of replacement. In addition to saving you all that money, we are able to be in and out within a few hours as opposed to several days to weeks for replacement.
We are usually able to lift and level your concrete within a few hours. You are able to use the area we repaired immediately after we finish. If you choose to tear out and replace your concrete you will not be able to use the are for several days.
If you choose to lift your concrete with polyurethane foam, you can drive on the slab as soon as we leave your home. If you choose mudjacking to raise your concrete, we ask that you not drive on it for at least 24 – 48 hours so the material can properly cure.
Polyurethane foam is the newest technology in lifting concrete. It allows us to lift structures that previously were not possible with mudjacking. The biggest differences are the 5/8″ hole with polyurethane compared to a 1 5/8″ hole with mudjacking. Polyurethane foam is extremely lightweight so it does not add stress on already weak soils. UDOT now only specs out their jobs for our technical foam to fix the roads. If you can’t tell, we believe our foam is far superior to mudjacking. Yes! When you choose Utah Concrete Lifting and polyurethane foam to lift and level your concrete, you are given a warranty on all repairs. We will come out and re-lift any slab that has sunk over 1/4″ within 2-years of the work being completed.
